Busy location on the Ocean strip but perfect for walking the area. Be forewarned...this part of Carmel is very hilly so if you have mobility issues you may struggle. Parking and traffic is hectic, of course weekends are worse. It's a gorgeous spot though. Hotel staff were exceptional. Room was super clean, roomy with a fireplace and private patio. I was in an intermediate king. Free continental breakfast was delivered daily...very nice touch. Excellent Foglifter coffee too. Comfy bed, fresh smelling linens and a tub so clean... read more
A wonderful stay. The room was large and very comfortable. When I got home I realized I was missing my sandals. I called three times and each time was told they would ask housekeeping and get back to me. They never did. Then I called and got Ericka. She apologized the others didn’t get back to me and said she would check for my sandals. She called back within 5 minutes and said she found them. Lovely rooms, each has its own perks and benefits. Only complaint, poor shower pressure and sink in bathroom was too shallow
