I wanted to like this place. It's the only coffee shop on the stretch of road between here and Annapolis or DC, so we stop in whenever we're passing through. Every visit has been the same disappointment. The coffee is consistently bitter and unpleasant, and not worth what they charge. The pastries have tasted stale each time, like they were sitting out for days. Prices are high for the quality, which makes it harder to overlook. Service has been a problem too. Really cool place. Ordered a regular coffee with cream and sugar and the Emily- bacon egg cheese home fries burrito with Cholula. Really tasty. The regular coffee has a great flavor too. I was going to get an iced mocha latte but I ended up getting just a regular coffee and this place is definitely a great spot.
