Purchased a car from Luke @ LMS Motors Oxford (not a dealership but MOT garage) on 5th March 2024 and as nice as the car is when getting it home I did notice a few things. I have given 2 stars as the car is genuinely not a bad example but also 2 stars only because I was sold a car with 1 year warranty which I was not able to make use of!!! LMS is a friendly family-operated firm run by Luke. I have been going there since 2021 and have never had anything but first-class treatment. Sometimes they have gone "above and beyond" to fix problems, especially on older vehicles where the unavailability of new parts has spurred LMS staff to find creative (but effective) solutions. I have been looking for a good quality secondhand convertible and found one being advertised here. Made a call to see if it was still there, and arranged to visit the next day. No pressure at all in selling it, literally handed me the keys and told me to have a look and take as long as I needed. Then taken out for a test drive to demonstrate handling, speed, acceleration etc. Again, no pressure at all. Professional job from Luke and the knowledgeable workshop team sorting some electrical issues with my Ford. Covered under warranty from purchase here - bonus. They even tracked down a spare key I had lost - Magic!
Having decided I wanted a Skoda Yeti I found LMS motors on the Internet. They returned my message very quickly, I went to see the car and they listened carefully to what I was wanting, particularly catering for my elderly mother's needs. Excellent preparation of the car, personable and highly efficient handling of the paperwork. Too far for me to go for servicing but I would certainly buy a car from them again.
