Glad I ventured out to this place with wonderful tasty food and views! Great food to try and chill near the ocean
Best L&L location
The food itself was good, hits the spot after a long day. We tried the Kalua Pig, and the mini portion was pretty generous. The service was quick, waited about 10 minutes before they called our number. The ambiance is just alright, it is a food court after all.
This fast-food chain is run by Chinese owners; I had tried two of their locations on the Big Island and found them to be good value and quite decent, so I was disappointed to have a terrible experience at this Honolulu branch. To begin with, although the shop enjoys a prime location in the heart of the public beach area, the environment is appalling—flies swarm everywhere, hovering right around your food container, forcing you to constantly swat them away with one hand while trying to eat with the other. Delicious menu, service is extremely friendly and speedy. Love the price and the portions are massive! You couldn't get a better deal. Only issue is that in this location, lots of flies outside and homeless keep going into trash cans while you eat.
