All the food is piping hot and only cooked when ordered. The French fries are hot and crispy and only brought out at the end so they stay hot as long as possible. The egg drop soup is succulent and hot and needs no added seasoning because it is delicious just as the master cook prepared it. You’ll pay a little more but it’s worth it for cooked-to-order tasty food. I have never been disappointed. I can’t come everyday but their French fries are better than McDonald’s and come in generous portions, their mini portions are filling for one, their regular portions are good for 2 (or 3) meals. They’re closed on Sundays because the laundromat customers next door fill up the common parking lot but there are a lot of other options in Kaimuki including the L&L by Sekiya’s Japanese Restaurant across from Kaimuki High Scho... read more
