I stoped to see this Doctor after she told me that the ingredients of Levothyroxine are : Selenium, magnesium, potassium, copper and all the supplements that help to the thyroids to work good. After that I decided to look for another endocrinologist.
Dr Yambay is thorough, professional, and a patient advocate. My partner is T1D and I habe attended several appointments with her and have witnessed the exceptional care Dr Yambay provides to her patients. Dr Yambay was able to help my wife navigate T1D through a twin pregnancy and has helped her achieve an A1C below 7 for 2 years now!
I'm very understanding person and know Dr. Get busy and sometimes have a lot on their plates but when it comes to a Doctor that doesn't listen to their patients or care if things happen in a person's life that's beyond their control and refuses to refill a diabetics medicines or CGM until they are seen is unbelievable, but you can believe it with this Doctor! I don’t understand why some of her ratings, are low. She is detail oriented, explains diagnosis/tests well and has some of the best bedside manner, of any physician I have seen. She did not rush and answered any questions I had. The poor ratings had me almost schedule an appt out of town. I am so thankful I did not. Disregard those poor ratings, they must be from patients, who can’t be pleased. Highly recommend!
