Another I'd give NO stars to - like a previous reviewer, I had a bad food experience too. Never again.
Stay away. Had an undercooked shrimp dish & was very VERY ill from it. And when they were told, all they offered was a free meal. I would rather have had my $$ back. Never again. I tell everyone I know to stay away.
Relaxing and Fun – The food is great, the drinks are strong and the atmosphere is great, especially on weekends. The only drawback is that sometimes it takes forever to get a drink on the patio. I have waited more than 30 minutes on a couple occasions for a drink and had to go in and get it myself after ordering. Other than that (an easily fixable problem) the place is great.
Good Beer. So so food. service varies depending on how vocal you are....
Nice atmosphere This is a great place to go on a date. The food is really good, and the portions are large. The resteraunt is kind of dim but it works with the atmosphere.
Special place... I don't care how busy this place is, I always seem to get my special table right in front! Their food is great, CHEESECAKE (Oreo) is what dreams are made out of for sure...
Appealing atmosphere, fantastic menu This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a good meal with a low-key environment. The service is sometimes slow, but the food more than makes up for it. The restaurant is dimly lit, and is a perfect setting for a romantic dinner, or to relax after a long day at work. I wouldn't recommend as a kid-friendly environment.
Livingstone's Restaurant & Pub We had a Christmas party here. Was big enough to accommodate all of us. We went back for an intimate dinner and it seemed a little dark. Food was good and service was good.
Though the restaurant features standard meat and potatoes fare, Livingstone's bar has become a mainstay of the Tower District. – The Scene: The Livingstone's denizens are a lively group: 30-somethings celebrating their first house purchase, sorority girls meeting their musician boyfriends before a gig, and singles riding Livingstone's vibrant pick-up vibe (take a seat at the bar to make a new friend.)
