I am a former employee of Amedia Hospice. In the past, this company had some decent Director of Clinical Services who trained their nurses to fit their vital role as hospice RN case managers and set them up for success with their compassion, guidance and experience. Their liaison, Michael G. who comes the skilled nursing facility I work at, is the kindest person I have ever met. He is diligent, reliable, extremely caring, and very knowledge on all that Amedysis has to offer. If I could give them a zero rating I would we have been with this company for 2 years and since it has changed management it has gone downhill Mr River has No Idea what he is doing and Mr Robert Dunn either they both have no compassion for their patients there wonderful nurses have left this company because they don’t care for their needs. I have asked them many times to go with THIER nurses to see what it is ALL ABOUT but they Don’t WANT TO KNOW how much compassion it takes to care for the elderly patients it breaks my hear... read more
