As tragic as it is to have to allow a loved one to go into a facility due to a fall it is only made worse by several factors. My mother’s room was filthy and hardly cleaned. She also contracted Covid while there and also fell while there even though she was a fall risk and should have been watched. She became sicker there than when she first entered the facility. Great staff trying to care for our elderly under poor working conditions. Always short staffed, terrible food and lots of folks sitting in soiled diapers. If you have a relative here, under Dr. Equinozzi's care, don't plan on talking to him. He reserves his time for private practice clients and won't talk to you unless you catch him for the 15 minutes he's there monthly.
