I went there today to take my dog, they are very nice and caring. They were great with my dog who is very hard to handle since she bounces off the wall. We will be going back from now on.
Dr. Loyd was very caring and concerned about my pup Hines. We were able to schedule an appointment last minute as we were on vacation and needed some immediate care. They even called a few days later to check on his condition. I would definitely return again and would recommend this vet to anyone.
I've not been to Live Oak, however with that being said, my experience with Dr. Lloyd at the emergency clinic in Havelock was horrible. The staff is rude and not caring. Dr. Lloyd proceeded to lecture me on why my emergency wasn't an emergency and that she had a more pressing case there and one on the way. In the time she took to lecture me my dogs eyes could've been stained and drops given and I could've been sent on my way. However that is not the case. Cholia the chihuahua was attacked by two unmonitored Mastiffs and Dr. Susan saved her leg! Cho was rushed to Beaufort immediately and Susan dropped what she was doing to assist in a time of need. The hospital is a clean and updated facility, which I would highly recommend her services!
I will never forget the compassion and respect shown to me following the sudden death of my precious Abigail by both Dr Lloyd and her staff.
Many thanks to Dr. Lloyd and her staff for the special care that they gave to our precious cat, Louis when he was so sick . We will never forget their care and compassion. Thank you so much for being there for Louis.
