I wanted to make sure that Michelle at the building department got credit for being so helpful through the license and permitting process. She answered all of my questions and was super responsive. I think people forget that the people who work for the building department are not the ones who put the policies in place. Such a great experience compared to other jurisdictions, thank you Michelle.
The Littleton Inspectors have completely lost track of why the community needs them. As a longtime HVAC technician, I know a thing or two about how to install a furnace.. but these inspectors will fail you for things that absolutely do not help the safety or functionality of an installation.
