I had the best Valentine’s Day ever thanks to the desserts from this shop! The desserts here really stand out. They’re so popular you need to reserve ahead, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The textures are so interesting—soft layers give way to chewy jelly, or sweet flavors are balanced by a hint of nutty crunch. Not only are these rugelach authentic and delicious, but they’re also works of art: tiny twists of dough and filling indicative of Autumn’s care and skill. I grew up eating New York bakery rugelach, and these from Little Twist Bakery are as good. We ordered the chocolate, apricot and strawberry varieties and it’s impossible to eat just one. Next time we’ll try the Ube, Matcha, and Pandan varieties as well.

Wow!!! Popped the box open as soon as I got home and it was a lovely party in my mouth! RUN, don’t walk, to order some rugelach from Autumn!!! You definitely won’t regret it. She was giving out samples of her chocolate babka too and I inhaled it! It’s going to be hard to restrain myself and not eat of all of them in the next couple of days.
