Noisy at 7am. Very disturbing to the communities around it.
The water treatment plant itself has keep out signs posted so it seems it's not really visitor friendly. Directly across the street from it though, on the south side of Cox Road is a trail along the Little River Creek, perhaps a mile long. At the end is a modest waterfall. It seems to be along a series of manholes so it probably has something to do with the water treatment facility.
Great place to walk for exercise.
This place is under construction to build an additional updated treatment plant
