This was my first time there. Thanks to my sister for this. The three grandkids that were with me had so much fun. I highly recommend this. Great experience, great staff and just a great time.
I was a little worried that the two and a half hour experience would exceed my 17 month old's attention span. He had a great time. You are free to move the entire length of the train and between looking out the windows, exploring all the different cars, and visiting with the other children, he was well entertained. There was even a lovely park at the layover in Quincy where he got some wiggles out. One word of advice: pack food.
The train round trip is the perfect length and it's great for kids!

Had a great time with the family. It is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The crew works hard to create a great environment to soak up the history of Locomotives. It's a lot of fun to ride the rails through the beautiful countryside, smell the coal fired stream engine and listen to the whistles and bells announce our arrival.
We love having this in our small town. The family that runs it is amazing and goes beyond great customer service. My two year old train enthusiast loves going on the train!
