RecommendedSuper fun train ride. Almost 1hr and 30 min. With a sweet stop at a cool park in Quincy for the kids to play at while the train switches cars.

We loved the train ride! I highly recommend it. Some of the cars are warmer than others. So take blankets just in case!
Not impressed with the one boarding us, he looked grumping and didn't offer a helping hand on and off the train, big step on and off and nothing to hang on to step on and off, my balance being what it is, getting off, i went tumbling off, almost fell into the snow, that's why i gave only a 3, ticket office was very friendly. More friendly than the ones on tree, so sad but true,
Was disappointed in the lack of festive decor and music. The elf was not enthusiastic, Santa was in a gloomy dark dinghy car, and was definitely not jolly and inviting to the kids. Most of all, I needed 9 tickets, was told that I got the last 6. Therefore 3 of my family members couldn't attend. There were SO MANY empty seats... Was not worth the hour and half drive.

As far as tickets go we do not over book the train because it can become crowded in the cars. Unfortunately some passengers did not show up to the correct time or just didn't show up for the ride. Was fun to experience a mode of transportation from the past. Took the granddaughter and she loved it. Would like to go again on different themed rides. We took the Christmas holiday express.
