Great selection of wines. Very thoughtful staff. Pleasant people with amazing view of the california coast.
This place is overpriced for what it is. While the views are nice, it’s on the east side of the highway which I consider a big negative. Our room was bleak and run down. The ocean view I paid for was somewhat obscured. Literally nothing to write home about. The service was annoying at best. On our first day the guy at the desk was nice enough but almost every question we had he referred us to his manager the next morning. Their check in is at 4pm and check out is 10am. It’s an older building but doesn’t smell old which can be an issue The bed was comfortable and nice sized room with a mini frig and coffee maker. The bathroom had an old fashioned tub/ shower combo which had a curtain around it. That was tricky I have a bad knee so getting in and out was challenging especially with the curtain There is No elevator so you have 2 1/2 flights of stairs to carry suitcases It’s also on the main road There’s no Airconditioning so you sleep with the window open and since we were in the front of the... read more
Positives - Our delux ocean view room had wonderful views of the ocean and lived up to the name. Excellent experience with our waitress (the same one) during both dinner nights. Friendly and engaging!!! Cons- The rooms could use a refresh. It is dated with lots of rust in the bathroom. Biggest disappointment was breakfast. We had filled out the breakfast card and had clipped it to the door before the deadline but it was never picked up. It would have taken 45 minutes to have breakfast delivered when we got up in the morning ... read more
This is such a great little inn. We stayed in a peekaboo room that had beautiful views of the coast with a nice fireplace and rocking chairs on the patio. They let us keep our dog here and everything has been kept up so nicely. The location is subjective. It's a little away from things but right next door to a state park and across the street from a sand beach. Everyone in the area and the inn was very friendly. I cannot recommend it enough.
