Talk about fast When you walk in and seated, you are served salad right then so you can immediately start eating, which is great if you are hungry. Your food comes out very quickly and tastes pretty good. I don't think I have ordered anything I didn't like. Prices are really good. PROS: Quickly served CONS: Cannot pay at the table
cute and tasty! This is one of my favorite places in San Antonio. Good food at great prices and a cute Texas atmosphere. You can't ask for more then that! I believe there is even enough choices of sides for a picky eater.
Older than me This place is older than I am. And there is a reason they are still around. Great steaks at a great price with great service. If you are looking for a good Texas steak with out any uppity put ons. This is your place. Prices are great. You won't be disappointed.
Good Steak House Been in San Antonio for 42 years and is still the best place on a limited budget to get a steak! They are very friendly and don't skimp on the sides and all the fixins! PROS: Great Steak / great Price!! CONS: N/A
Wonderful Texas Treat! This is one of the best places to enjoy a Texas size steak, even chicken fried, with wonderful service & and a great western atmosphere. I have been eating here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Great place to bring your out-of-town visitors.
Seasonals 2019 fine, 2020 YIKES, we had a late start due to Covid and tornado damage. We informed owners we would be just using site during the week due to Covid (sites very close together). When we arrived on Monday ,we found a portable septic tank right next to our picnic table and another portable septic tank right next to where we sit for our fires. Service was exceptional. T-bone was cooked to perfection. Cheesecake was excellent. We will come again. We were even given a sample of Slow and Low Wiskey . Talk about a great dinner
Excellent food. Reasonably priced. Will make it a regular stop when I am in town. Great atmosphere, but steaks are even better. It's a must when in SA.
