Very good food at a good place especially with the senior discount. I highly recommend
Southern food buffet. I appreciated they have you glove your food serving hand for sanitation. Very old building and decor but food was solidly good, not over-salted and lots of various options. If you’re looking for authentic classic southern food, this place is legit. Cafeteria style seating and serve yourself buffet. Fountain drinks and sweet tea.
I was really hoping to like it. But the meat just seemed poor quality. It was either cold or just not flavorful. Sauces were eh. Very disappointing for SC BBQ. Staff was friendly. Guy came to play music was pretty good. Most flavorful thing I had there wasn't BBQ at all but something called tomato pot pie. Maybe it was an off night? The pulled pork was tough (tried several variations) and just bland. Ribs and fried chicken were cold.
Good food, good price.
