Don't lie to people and tell them "we just remove the nail". Tell them the truth. Declawing is amputating the first knuckle, it's painful to the animal, and often causes long-term pain and problems.
You either respect felines or you don't. Amputation, is amputation, is amputation. Ask an amputee if the pain ever stops. If you must profit from their nails, sell cat posts. You truly have sold your soul. No excuse for profiting from an unnecessary surgery under the guise of vanity, convenience, and the falsehood that the victims don't suffer from it. #Shameonyou
Declawing is barbaric hence the fact it is bannied in the civilised world !
This clinic is affiliated with the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, which is aggressively fighting a NJ bill to ban declawing because they want the legal right to continue profiting from an inhumane and medically unnecessary surgical procedure. The NJVMA has reportedly LIED to NJ legislators by claiming that "no bone is removed" in declaw surgery. This is blatantly self-serving misinformation and as a former veterinary technician and cat lover, I could never trust this clinic because of this.
