I really enjoy this little shop; it may be my favorite thing about Dundalk. Laura is very welcoming and friendly. I really appreciate her Crafty Saturdays - one Saturday a month you can drop in and do a preselected craft and hang out. I made a heart shaped leather pocket-magnet and a stamped leather keychain in February, and a glow in the dark coaster in September. Truly a gem in our little town.
Laura and her shop are absolutely lovely. Lots of handmade jewelry as well as other things such as pillows. A special spot in the heart of old Dundalk.
I’m so grateful to have stumbled across Laura and her husband’s Little Crystal Bijoux booth while I was attending Awesome Con this year. I thought that since having left Memphis, Tennessee a few years ago that I’d never find another quirky crafts and Japanese vintage shop ever in my life. Nice to know that such a shop exists in Maryland. On my first visit I was warmly welcomed and offered a hot chocolate (which was excellent, by the way). When I spotted a handmade purse but said I liked the hardware better on another, Laura offered to make me one with the color and hardware I liked. No extra charge for the custom work.
