great little train shop, friendly staff and knowledgeable repair staff. competitive pricing, also a couple of operating displays., located across the street from the North Carolina Transportation Museum.

VERY disappointed! Lots of inventory, but the staff could use some customer service skills. I heard two noises the whole time I was there. The grunt from the guy at the Lionel counter when I entered, the other was the flatulence from the guy stocking the Woodland Scenics wall. Great way to keep customers in your store. Thanks for the experience!
I first went there in 2010 to start my hobby and they have never disappointed in service or availability. I put my projects on hold in 2014 but have started building a house with a fairly large room to work in a shelf layout and returned to the store this afternoon. Glad to know they haven't changed in six years.
great train store I recommend.
It's good if you are into HO or Lionel. How ever that is really all that's there. There in very,very little Nscale it's more HO and Lionel than anything else.
RecommendedCame in this Thursday and James in the back helped me get my 30 year old train going for my boy this Christmas. Huge thank you to James!
