Great hobby shop for the electric train enthusiast. Knowledgeable staff, clean store, and a great variety of items from locomotives, rolling stock, scenery, how to books and more. I have been a customer for over 20 years and have never been unsatisfied.
My fiancé has spent plenty of time and money in here over the years and we have never had a bad experience until today. The staff has become so rude and disrespectful that we will NEVER shop here again. Ever since Covid started it hasn’t been the same here. If you are going to be rude to your regular customers over something as simple as a mask being pulled up, then you shouldn’t be open. I am sorry your had this unpleasant experience at the store. These times are very confusing and people have many different thoughts on mask wearing as well as the virus itself. We do employee several people that are at higher risk. They need their job and can't just stay home yet they are nervous when they see someone not complying with the store's rules based on the CDC and the state governor. Many of the employees seemed helpful and accommodating for my wife who has an ADA exemption for wearing a mask. However the employee who caused us to leave, due to his crass attitude towards the subject should educate himself more on the ADA laws before continuing to act highly educated on the topic. Eventually lawsuits will start catching up to these businesses.
