We just recently had an excellent experience at Little Bear Dentistry in Malvern. We’re in Havertown so it wasn’t exactly close but for me it was worth the trip! Our 8.5y old is autistic and has ADHD and they were so incredibly patient and kind with him. Like next level and I’ve been burned by neurodivergent friendly pediatric dentists before. 🥹🥹🥹🥹 This place exceeded my expectations. It’s not easy being the mom of an Autistic non verbal toddler with a high pain tolerance whose mood changes often require an investigation. We had a very comfortable experience. Dr. Skuja was kind and supportive throughout our visit, and we truly appreciate her patience and care.
The cleaning went well for my ASD1 child. She was able to advocate for herself when she was uncomfortable and given options on how to complete the care that was needed. Often it’s just a matter of having some choice that helps her do hard things.
