Dr. Mia and the staff at Little Apple Podiatry have been professional, extremely helpful and courteous. The VA sent my husband to her. Dr. Mia healed my hubby’s open wound (surgeon was insisting amputation of the big toe was our only option). I referred a friend who is in the early stages of dementia. The staff, Dr. Mia exceed expectations. My mom moved to Kastner and I brought mom there for wound care. Dr. Mia examined the wound and talked to mom about having a biopsy done. I have appreciated Dr. Mia immensely- I have had problematic feet my entire life and I now have issues with lower leg wounds, edema and problematic healing. Her knowledge, treatment and state of the art equipment has helped me so much. For reference: I got my toenail removed here. I have had ingrown toenail procedures done around 8 times in my life. That being said I have never felt more uncomfortable at a doctors office. The First Lady that came in did an amazing job. But when the doctor came in she barely spoke to me. I told her about my phobia of needles and asked for the cold spray that I have had before. I have never felt more uncomfortable at a doctors office before. The initial either nurse or MA that I spoke with was very nice and talked and explained to me what she was probably going to do when she came in. The Doctor then comes in not introducing herself at all so I had no idea she was even the doctor until I asked her and was looking at my feet seeming very agitated and not speaking to me. Dr. Mia. Helped my toes 109%. I had years of toenail misery. She completely changed that! I cannot recommend her and her wonderful staff enough!
