Super tasty sweets and the staff is absolutely wonderful!
After passing this shop for several months, we finally had an opportunity to stop in. It is not an exaggeration to say that Kay and Margaret's magic have changed the lives of many of my family members. I have sent a pie to Ohio, delivered pies to Pennsylvania, and gotten my in laws from Florida hooked. My brother from South Carolina may never eat another person's apple pie ever again! I finally stopped by to try some pie after living in the area for over 4 years. I can't believe I waited this long. I come from a long line of amazing bakers and these ladies definitely know how to bake. The apple pie was so delicious and packed with apples. I often find pies to be very crusty with less filing, but my pie was filled with delicious apples :-)
Awesome pies!!! Salted Caramel Apple pie just scrumptious and Kay made special arrangements outside of her normal business hours for me to get that delicious pie. Thank you!!!
Neither my fiancé nor I are very fond of cake, and all the samples of wedding cake that we tried were especially dry. Therefore, pie seemed like a moist, deliciously, and autumn-friendly (we were married in October) option. Kay invited us to a pie tasting at her shop in Aldie, and from there we chose Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan pie and Pear-Cranberry-Ginger pie.
