I was sold a vehicle by ***********************. He was a bit pushy and rude. I have dealt with other salesmen at Lithia before and had WONDERFUL experiences. Ultimately, I bought a used car "as is". I trusted this person when I was told that the vehicle was in good running condition. I have purchased 4 brand new and 2 previously owned vehicles from Lithia, and NEVER had one have so many problems 1 week after purchase. Terrible experience = customer service leaves a LOT to be desired and I would avoid giving them your time or money. Made a test drive appointment on a Tuesday for a Saturday, as I live in **** and needed to work and then make arrangements (lodging, rental car) to drive to Springfield. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. My son bought a vehicle there just over a month ago - 2 months at the most. He's paid a whole one car payment and his vehicle has broken TWICE - the first being the day after it left the lot. Today the sales manager told me "cars end up coming back all the time shortly after purchase for not running and people have to pay for the repairs" and "the service department can't get paid if nothing goes wrong with the vehicle". I live in ***** and I was going to buy a Lexus is250 from this dealership. I was willing to put more than half the price of the vehicle as down payment. After taking the vehicle to a local mechanic frame damage was noticed. I had asked them several times if the vehicle passed inspection and they were very confident that the vehicle was in good driving condition. Please do not trust a dealership that is selling vehicles with unknown conditions
