RecommendedI have been going to LVH for 15 yrs and would never change. The Dr's and Tech's and staff are extremely caring and make you feel very comfortable! My feline Bria sends them all Birthday and Christmas cards every year! Why you ask? Because when you touch me, you touch my heart.. BLESS YOU ALL! Love you all! Our dog found a porcupine at 4:45 on a Friday night. I called several other vet offices in the area frantic as my husband was in the middle of laying tile and we have two small children I couldn’t leave. They were the only ones that stayed to take care of our poor boy so we didn’t have to have a friend drive an hour away with him in pain. Very thankful for the exceptional care he received! He’s home recovering now.
As of right now, this hospital is helping me go through a difficult time with my dog Gizmo, he's been diagnosed with the possibility of having a brain tumor. They're doing everything in their power to keep him happy and "healthy" during this difficult time. Dr.Stuart has talked to me over the phone extensively about my options, weighed out pros and cons, talked financials and really helped me make my choices, could not recommend them enough. I'm so glad I brought my baby to them, he's getting the best treatment he can.
The entire staff is awesome!!! They truly love your fur babies.
Terrible customer service they gave me the wrong medicine for my dog and now he still squinting after four months and they keep telling me it takes a month for the application to work when they gave me the wrong medicine for months ago and now it’s been another month and he squinting and he can barely see so after spending $500 I have to go to another vet to see what’s actually wrong with him terrible customer service
Very courteous and professional staff also they don't push vaccines unless it's necessary. I usually have blood work done to see if they need their vaccines unless they're mandatory!
Staff is so friendly! Treat your pets like there and are very compassionate about what they do and work with your budget.
I have one of those dogs that seems to spend more time at the vet than at home. I’m so thankful to have found this practice upon moving to Torrington. The all female staff is immensely helpful as my dog is afraid of men (and everything else). They are so sweet with her, take such good care of her and even go out of their way to help us avoid any issues in where someone in the waiting room might make my dog uncomfortable.
