Had a party of roughly 40 in the upstairs dining room. Management knew we were coming for weeks. They assigned one server, and she struggled, big time. The poor thing had no support from downstairs. She was comping checks left and right and was boxing up food straight from the kitchen. I know he's well-regarded in the community, but the owner and his wife were downstairs knocking back glasses of wine in the bar the whole time. This restaurant is the best Italian food in Allegany County. They have a full bar, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service.

The waiter was wonderful. The food is always good. We usually stop at L'Italia when we are in Wellsville. I wish there was a bit more overhead lighting in the large dining area. We sat next to the window last time we went, and that was better.
