In 2014, I paid the sum of $250 to reserve a unit of the then in-development Lit Motors gyro-motor vehicle. I received a certificate from the product developers acknowledging my reservation. And that was the absolute last I've heard from this outfit. Five years is more than enough to wait for a magic motorcycle that never materialized.
