You should see this shop! – I guess I didn't realize how crappy my lampshades were until I walked into LiT the first time. I had no idea a lampshade could make such a big difference in a room. I wish all my friends were getting married instead of getting divorced bc there's an awesome Make Your Own Lampshade kit that would be the coolest wedding present.
Great way to spice up your living or office space! – I have a couple of lamps that were custom made and they suited my personality so well! For example: I like a modern touch, yet have a relatively down to earth nature. The lamp shade that resulted was a beautiful stainless steel pole for a base, that is adjustable, topped off by a sturdy, yet comfortable shade that casts a calm light. Friendly, Helpful and Stylish – I went in because I had read their blog and wanted to check it out. I needed a lamp shade quickly because my in-laws were coming into town in two weeks, and I couldn't find any I liked in any stores and was kind of on a budget. Dawn not only custom made me a shade in that time period but I also bought a lamp from her showroom floor. I love both and my in-laws’ were blown away. Dawn saved the day!
Lovin' Lit – This adorable store in Central District/Capitol Hill is SO charming and FUN. Designer lampshades and wallpaper that is affordable, creative and one of a kind makes LiT one of my favorite Seattle stops.
