You wouldn't want to be dying
I arrived by ambulance Christmas Eve. Was taken immediately to x-ray from triage and from there to a cubical. I was seen promptly by a Dr and my pain was well managed. I was moved from the ED to the EDSSU and a more comfortable bed for the night to await CT in the morning. My pain was managed very well. After treatment and further assessments I was discharged safely on Christmas Day. My experience was arriving at midnight, using free parking, and being assessed immediately, then waiting for a doctor. The doctor apologised for the wait as they'd been attending an emergency. I was most impressed with the staff and felt comfortable and safe
A 7 hour wait is not good enough especially when they wanted to take you in by ambulance
