My husband was referred to Dr. Townsend for ADD testing, so he would have "something official" in his medical record. He was sent home with a cognitive test that tests for dementia for me to fill out. The issue I have is their "surprise billing"! The original costs for these tests was nearly $1500!! Our portion? $707. That's highway robbery. Why would anyone want a follow-up appt after that?!
I went the neuropsychology evaluation with Dr. Lisa Townsend for early detection of cognitive changes in my memory. I was very impressed with the depth of the testing and the great amount of information the evaluation provided me about where I stand in your cognitive memory health. The evaluation consists of many specific tests that target every part of the brain as related to memory. Dr. Townsend is very helpful knowledgeable with my health issues. And Yes, sometimes , have to sit back and relax. ROME Wasn't build in a day So Sit down and wait NOT every on can be done in an hour?
Went in to get concussion testing and had no complaints about the experience. Dr. Townsend was professional and helped me understand my concussion and process of recovery and Anna, her assistant, helped me through paper work, testing and scheduling a follow up. Wasn’t in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes and they even had beverage and snacks. Definitely would recommend to other people.
