She is very personable and caring.
I find Dr to be a very good communicator. She comes into the appointment fully informed and knows my case details, and efficiently walks me through critical highlights and a process overview in a clear, direct manner. She is personable, warm and evokes confidence in a style that puts me at ease. I requested her after having had a health issue of another matter 6 years ago. She also has an excellent team of staff around her possessing similar qualities. I highly recommend her.
My family and I had our consultation with Dr. Lisa Guirguis and, wow, she is going to be an amazing partner in treatment and recovery. Dr. Guirguis is extremely kind and compassionate. She gave us all the time we needed to ask questions and understand the treatment strategies. Her care team at Sutter is very responsive, optimistic, and supportive.
I am so lucky to have been assigned Dr. Guirguis as my surgeon. She alleviated all of my concerns and provided so much information on my type of cancer from a clinical research standpoint. I really appreciated being given that information to help inform my decisions about my care and understand what is going on in my body.
