I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Gelman during my appointment on June 15, 2026. I brought my mother with me for moral support, as I am currently unable to drive at times due to dizziness, and I am so grateful that I did. She’s not only educated me, but also my mother, which helps for moral support, annd understanding of what is going on. Dr. Gelman was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and empathetic. I was given the number of Dr.Gelman's practice for a follow -up of 7 to 10 days, upon being released from Einstein Jefferson Hospital. I was told quite quickly there were no appointments until October before I even was able to explain why I was calling.The person who answered said would make a call to see if someone else could get in touch with me. Went to Dr Gelman and was told to arrive 15 minutes early when appointment was made. I arrived with plenty of time ahead of appointment. They made me wait for over an hour to be seen. I asked why I was scheduled for an appointment and forced to wait over 90 minutes for that appointment. They said she was running late and said I shouldn't have arrived so early. Now the wait time is MY fault. Office staff are complete unempathetic and cold. I'd choose somewhere else if I were you.
I felt very listened to. She showed a lot of compassion and really spent the time to figure things out but also explaining everything to me.
