My son has been a patient with Dr. Wei for three years now. There are not very many pediatric ophthalmologist in the DMV. While she is not the most coinvent for me, she is personable with my kids. My only real complain is that she does not accept specific insurances; therefore, I am required to pay out of pocket, which for two kids, my copay is typically $100 per kid. Other than that, she's great and I have referred people to her (not sure if they used her).
She has poor medical and business ethics standard. Went for my daughter follow up with her taking my daughter from school. I changed my insurance lately. I had to talk the Insurance company because they had problem accessing it. This took me about 30 minutes. Just after I finished talking to the insurance people she told me that she wouldn't see my patient because time had passed. When I got mad and asked her to give the medical record to see another doctor,she said that I had to wait for a wee
