I know longer need to see Dr. Jacobs. She was dismissive of my request for a MRI or a MRI mammogram so a breast cancer recurrence that could have been detected early and treated was not until it was metastatic stage 4. She didn't even think I needed an ultrasound which I was entitled to and all women who have had breast cancer should have in the very least. Dr. Lisa Jacobs is a professional, medical, skilled Angel in human form! After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was frightened and thought my life was over. Dr. Jacobs was patient with me and answered all my questions, and never appeared to be rushed in our meetings. Not only was Dr. Jacobs skilled in the OR, but her office/bedside manner is reassuring, confidant, professional, and kind--everything a cancer patient needs to get on the road to recovery. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Jacobs as my doctor. She explained the process to me thoroughly and had me weigh all my options. I initially went to see her with my mind already made up as far as what surgical procedure I wanted and she implored that I seek out my options. There was no pressure or judgment from her when it came to my decision. She’s very straightforward, which is a quality in a doctor I appreciate.
