Dr. Lisa Gwynn understands the importance of protecting those who can't receive vaccines. Is your freedom to choose whether or not to receive a vaccine or your fears of a vaccine more important than the life of another who is unable to make that choice because they are not eligible to receive that vaccine due to either age restrictions or legitimate medical reasons?
She has the audacity to go on television and state autistic children should be able to wear masks a year and a half into the pandemic. Mind you some children are just turning three and entering preschool. No, special needs children can not just do what you say because you want it to be. Autism is a disability and covered by the ADA. Shame on you. Your place clearly is not in pediatrics or medicine.
