While Dr. Fogle is a very competent Dr,I will not return due to her office staff. I had a re-scheduled appt today. At the Wake Forest office. I was due in June, but when I called there 2 wks prior to update insurance, I was told the Raleigh office was no longer open and had to go to Wake Forest office. Longer drive, more difficulty driving with dilated eyes. I re-scheduled to July. This was cancelled by them due to weather. Re-Scheduled to today. I am one of Dr. Fogel's very first patients when she opened her practice in Raleigh. As a RN myself, I immediately recognized that she was no ordinary physician. She is highly intelligent, creative, communicates very well with her patients. Because of the complexity of medical issues of people needing her help...you will not be receiving a drive through appointments. She does not listen to older patients at all. I would not recommend her at all. The referral process to her is all that went well. No call back, no follow through on needed information from other doctors. I have been waiting for their office to follow up with another doctor for over a week and nothing. I would find someone better if I were you. Please check ALL available doctors. Use them as a last resort.
She was very rude and disrespectful to her elderly patients. She rolled her eyes at an elderly patient's question instead of trying to explain things. She mistreats her staff. I would not recommend this doctor.
Doctor was a bit rough and abrupt. The wait was long even with an appointment. Staff was okay not great.
If you want an ophthalmologist that works according to her watch, don’t go to Dr. Fogel. Sometimes thoroughness, care and consideration seem to take too long for in time-is-money world. I’d rather have the doctor’s complete attention and attentiveness and that’s why I go to Dr. Fogel.
I have been Dr Fogel’s patient many years. She is an excellent doctor & genuinely cares about her patients. I like most of her assistants but would be happier with less turnover..
Excellent staff and can’t say enough good things about Dr. Fogel. She was very through with my husbands exam and explained everything clearly. Very professional and at the same time very friendly and approachable. Highly recommend this practice.
Extremely caring and skilled doctor. We have been seeing her for years and she has saved my husbands vision.
