Patients Beware! Especially cancer patients in need of reconstruction. In my experience, this office will require you to prepay everything in advance, sign a very lengthy contract and promise to reimburse you, if and when they get paid by insurance but they will simultaneously insert an assignment of insurance benefits form for you to sign buried in the pile of legal contract pages which directly contradicts their fee agreement and allows them to keep all of the insurance money they collect too! I cannot recommend Dr. Cassileth and her team ENOUGH! She is the most competent impressive and skilled doctor that I have come across in my cancer and reconstruction journey. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is also excellent at what she does. Hard to describe this woman or this team. Let me start by saying we looked at about 15 options in the higher end of plastic surgery for implant removal. Implants, in our research, have been wreaking havoc on women’s health for a very long time. So if you’re going to take them out, you need an absolute star surgeon to get it right.
