I am still recovering from an extremely negative and discriminatory experience with Dr Moore - all the reviews ring true and as a young woman of color I felt my experience was exacerbated. I would not recommend people of color see this doctor. She was cold, rude, asked unrelated and unnecessary questions and did not believe me when I told her what was going on. I find Dr. Moore to be a caring, knowledgeable and emphatic person. For me these qualities greatly enhance my experience with a physician. She takes her work seriously and is clearly dedicated to her patients and profession. I believe I am in good hands with her. She listens to me. She’s attentive to what will help me be in good health. This happened around two years ago but now that I am a bit older, I wanted to share why I will never go to Lisa C. Moore again. Firstly, her bed-side manner is awful. Cold, rude, and unprofessional. I was referred to Lisa because I was having other health issues with an unknown cause and my doctor wanted to narrow down any possibilities. Dr. Moore is a fantastic person and highly knowledgeable Endocrinologist. Dr. Moore has been my doctor for almost 2 years now and she really takes the time to deep dive symptoms and lab results to help provide the most impactful medical recommendations. You can tell she really cares and wants the best for you. Dr. Moore’s office managers especially Juan are also incredibly professional and supportive.
