Dr. Taitsman was very thorough when describing my options prior to the surgery. We came up with what we thought was the best plan. The operation went very well. The follow up has tracked my progress and given me hope for a full recovery.
I was given options for a prosthetic issue that I didn’t know existed, in addition to the one that I had decided to pursue even though it means more surgery on my leg and a long recovery time. I’d rather avoid surgery if possible. I was also helped to adjust my socket so it doesn’t hurt
Dr. Lisa Taitsman is the best orthopedic surgeon ever and even has Ivy League credentials. Lisa performed a 4.5+ hour emergency surgery 8.5 years ago on my arm at Harborview, after suffering a catastrophic injury medically termed, "Terrible Triad Elbow Fracture," and I now have a Titanium elbow.
