Ordered a hot corned beef on rye which was fair, pickles were covered in slimy white something that made them taste horrid. Chicken liver was swimming in broth - not smooth or tasty at all. Every item was thrown out and I wasted $33. I am from Long Island and grew up with AMAZING Jewish deli’s. I had hoped I found one here in Rochester after Fox’s changed ownership (now totally sub-par as well. Sad! Jewish delis are usually fantastic - what a shame. 😢
Lipman's needs to up their game when it comes to sandwiches. Bread will make or break. Mine was becoming stale.
Shout out to Lipman's, especially Ronen and Hannah, for the BEST customer service, ever! I'm not from Rochester but wanted to help get dinner to my family member (also not from Rochester) who was in the area for a stressful business matter and literally had no time to pack food for his trip. The Lipman's team was a bright spot in that visit.
