Ordered walleye filet. Found countless bones. I was not able to eat most of it because it made me gag. My fiance had the seafood platter. Smelt were stuck together and soaked in grease. Not edible. We were given a piece of tall strawberry cake which was a special. You could taste in the frosting that it was stored in the refrigerator for a long time. It had that nasty refrigerator taste.
Huge menu and friendly staff – Whether we take our kids, or have a date night, we always end up and the Lion's Den. Even though their menu is very large, they run more specials on the weekend. It's fun to have so many things to choose from. Our server always gives us a bag of their popcorn to take home to our kids. How nice is that?!
For the price they charge on meals, I just don't feel the food is that good. Place is in desperate need of remodeling.
Great alternative to chain resturants! Super menu, great atmosphere, personal service – This is our favorite restaurant! They have it all - pasta, pizza, steaks, seafood, unique salads, chicken, and more!!! It is family owned, and you are treated with respect.
