The safari drive was the best part. Funny when an ostrich pecked at our window. It was fun feeding the birds and giraffes as well. Nice little water park to let the kids cool off.

I hadn't been to Lion Country Safari since it opened 50 years ago, at which time I was 7. Taking my niece and her two children, ages 3 and 14, yesterday was fantastic! We all had a blast. Watching the animals roam freely was a thrill. The CD that you get while you drive through the "safari" was very informative. The animals all looked healthy and we'll kept. Wonderful place for all ages. Lots to see and do. Giraffe feeding area is a big highlight. Loved all of it. Highly recommend it and will definitely return again.

The main problem I have with LCS is, unfortunately, the Lions. They used to roam free, occasionally walking up to the cars. Now, they're now kept in a fenced-in area. So basically, you're driving around a big fence with a few lionesses and what looks like a 400 year old male behind it. The gimmick is gone. Everything else is pretty good. The giraffe feeding is nice.
