First time here with little grandson. So much better than Zoo Miami. More up close and personal. Loved the petting zoo and train. Able to feed animals. Worth the drive from Ft Lauderdale.

Our family has gone to Lion Country Safari many times over the years and each time is a new experience. Our children are now 14 and almost 16 and they still enjoy it! We were lucky enough to have seen the Lions actually mate and also walk right passed our car back in 2005 (I have the video), see the building of and play in the splash area and water slides, peddle hard on the paddle boats, enjoy the Riverboat Queen guided tour, and so much more! It's something you must do at least once!

Lots of interesting animals to see and definitely a learning experience. My 2 year old had a blast and me and my husband did too!

I worked here . It was a really good experience. What i will never forget were the giant tortoises. At that time there was one that was 118 years old.
