Nice place to visit once every 5 years. Bring your own food and drinks, they have a little selections and only at the end of the tour. Bring also your swimming suit, since they have small nice water rides.
We did the drive through with my 2 1/2 year old boys and their grandparents. It was amazing. Fun for every age group. Fascinating to see all of these beautiful animals up so close to us. We explored the park minimally but hope to do more next time. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

It was my 51st birthday. Had not been since I was 5. It was a fantastic time.. I did ever single thing the park offered. Loved it all !!!!
A great place to visit with the kids! I really enjoyed the ride through the park and the kids had a blast with all the different activities. The staff was polite and like I said, we had a great time!
I took my grandchildren, they absolutely loved it. The drive-through with the educational CD was awesome !! To be able to drive through and see all the different animals was really nice . We fed the giraffes lettuce, fed the birds nectar. Went to the petting zoo, gift shop , the splash zone, and the waterslides , and went mining for gems . So if you're coming to South Florida, you should go visit lion country Safari with your children, or grandchildren . Lots of memories to be made
I am very impressed with the Chimpanzees. The Primate curator, Tina, came to speak in my Anthropology class when I was doing a unit on primates and I have sent some students to volunteer with them through Jane Goodall's Chimpanzoo program. Some wonderful opportunities. Also, my kids loved to drive through the park and then go ride the carousel and splash in the water park.
