Before undergoing the safety inspection, my vehicle was delivered to Dmitry’s service center, and we were initially quoted a repair cost of $1,000. After purchasing the car and beginning the repair, the cost unexpectedly increased to $2,900. Had we been told this upfront, we would have refused the vehicle, but Dmitry assured us that the repairs necessary for the safety inspection would not exceed $1,000.
