Julian, the patient coordinator, has been horrible at communicating. Many days the home aid did not show up, haven’t had a weekend aid in a month, and Julian did not call the patient, or family, to let us know no one was going in for a shift. I am very glad we have changed agencies.
Link Homecare is an absolute disgrace. My mother went in for what was supposed to be an orientation, not a college entrance exam. She already did the classes beforehand, but instead of any kind of proper onboarding, they handed her FIVE exams. What the hell is this, a university? She flew through the first four. Then on the last one, the passing score was 72 — she got a 70. Just TWO POINTS off, and they failed her. No discussion, no second chance, nothing. Just "you're not qualified." Are you serious? I must say working in LinkHome Care and the Brooklyn office may be challenging, and stressful, at times .. Some aides, complain, about , the cleaning, products.. And would curse me out! No class , no mannerism , no respect. I worked there for four years and the best person that I’d love is Solomiya . she treated me with respect dignity and gave me a chance to prove, my skills..
