at the end of the massage the masseuse said a $20 tip is mandatory, which is totally against the rule when they are already billing the insurance. I've been to other massage places that take my insurance and i was informed by the front desk explicitly that i don't need to tip. however i don't blame the masseuse because she must be underpaid, the owner should treat his/her employees better!
Did a 40min massage instead of 60min. Left the room 3 times. The massage was poor quality, to the point I was trying not to laugh at the end. They said I needed to tip 20% at the end despite all this.
I have been to Ling Massage twice. Selina is a really great massage therapist when I visited first time. I felt really good after. I had Lisa the second time and it is a totally different style, a lot of rolling of the same area over and over again, but really not helping to relax my joints and muscles. I came in and got a massage here today, which I thought the masseur did a great job. I have a chronic neck pain and stiffness (like rock) on my shoulders that’s been bothering me a lot and stressing me out. After the massuer worked on me for about 20 minutes I can immediately feel the stiffness has been decreased and the tension on my body has been relieved as well.
