I have lived in Lindsey apartments since I moved here to northwest Arkansas. I have heard from people who worked for Lindsey that the person running the company is heartless. They raised the rent $85 this year! The most it had ever been raised before was $25! For some reason( I guess 2020 was rough, they couldn't raise it that year because of covid and people complained about how coldblooded they were being about it. bsolutely the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Liars and thieves. I always paid rent on time, never complained, did not have any pets or smoke. I was the only tenant in a new one-bedroom for one year. I paid a $250 deposit, which I knew I wouldn't get back, as they're known for taking it for "clean up and painting" after you vacate. However, I didn't know that they would add a $600 charge for damaged carpet replacement... which was a bold-faced lie!! I left the Walton Crossing apartment in Excellent condition ... read more
I wish I could say living here was a good experience. It was not. I would avoid living here at all costs. The gate for safety rarely worked. The shared areas between apartments was always filled with cigarette buys, dog urine and feces; no matter how often we called the office, nothing was done to the offending tenants. Consequently, everyone who lived in this building had to walk through trash and pet urine to get in their door. Gutters were broken off and left as trash in the surrounding yards. Do not move here! I just signed my lease and got my keys yesterday. So after I got my keys I was told the amenities are only available for use from 9 am to 6 pm. The lease states 9 am to 9 pm. Manager tried to blame it on covid but then said the entire property management company has been operating on 9 am to 6 pm hours since March of 2020. So even though this complex just opened two weeks ago, they did not put the current/accurate information in the lease. Only gave 1 star because you had to give something. A young couple at the Links, a Lindsey Management Co slum oops luxury apartments in Texarkana, AR, has been without an AC in their apartment for over 2 months. Management refuses to fix and threatens them if they move out they will have to pay rest of the lease. I say take me to court if it were me. All I see is how much of a slum it has become over at the Links Texarkana under current manager.
Awful company! I own an insurance company and would recommend never going near any of their properties. I’ve heard horror stories from clients and they’ve been on the news quite a few times.
I worked for this company for 7 years as an apartment manager. It is a thankless job, because most folks like to complain about problems that will come up anytime you live in a complex. They trained me to be fair, honest, care about the residents and their quality of life. My takeaway from my time there was that Mr Lindsey, his son Lindy, and the people in management positions are good people. Please please please do not rent with lindsey they are thieves when you move out make sure you have a walk through . They will charge for things you are not responsible for . Worst company to rent with . Better pay extra dollars with other companies and save yourself the trouble of dealing with these people . Hope this company fails and hope other renters move in town
